As an introductory adventure, the kids' characters found a bunch of cute little soot creatures.  These harmless creatures needed a new home because the house they're living in is falling apart.  So by working together, we help them cross a river.  David answered a riddle from a Troll who was guarding the bridge over the river.  We fought mean little fire beings in the fireplace of the new house by pouring water on them.  The soot creatures have a new home, and we all got some magical rewards.
